My experience here confirmed I needed to get into pharmacy ASAP.
I'm Russian by the way. My research centered around whether Dostoevsky's view of the depravity of man influenced modern understandings of protein structural dynamics. Immediate results suggested yeah, it probably does but it's too hard to tell because there's so much pain and suffering in the world (I'm Russian by the way). I also like to talk about the political and economic state of the world right now. I'm Russian by the way.

Is it physically possible for a single human being to make TEV protease? With no help? All alone? Just them and the billions of E. coli? Is that even humanly possible? Does that go against the Geneva convention? What are the political ramifications of such an enterprise? Have we even thought about the ethical dilemma this presents, one person enslaving a thousand bacteria to make a single protein? What does this tell us about the spiritual state of science? How could a loving God allow such a desolate enterprise? These were the questions I researched in the Clinger lab.
